Wednesday – 7:00pm Timothy and Naomi Shell will share about their work in Mongolia.

Thurs – 9:30am Women’s Sewing Circle

Fri & Sat – Women’s/Girl’s Sleepover at Sparkling Springs beginning at 4pm; supper at 5:30. Items to bring: a Friday supper packed in a practical container to gift to a “secret sister”. Include a drink and some treats. Have hot items microwaved before 5:30; a sleeping bag or large sheet, one snack to share with everyone, $6 registration fee. We will meet at Lois King’s cabin. May 15 – 7:00 pm Evening program by Stuart Swartzentruber of Living Hope Native Ministries in Canada.

May 20th and Saturday May 21st – There will be a Men and Boys camp out at Sparkling Springs Friday evening May 20th and Saturday May 21st. Come for a time of fun, food, and fellowship. More details to follow.

The family from the Congo that we will be sponsoring is scheduled to arrive on May 26 We need help gathering necessary household goods. See the bulletin board for needed items. We are also in search of housing suitable for 8 people. Please let Dave Pence know of any housing leads. You may designate your offering at any time to go towards our refugee family sponsorship.

June 5 – 5:30 Mom’s Hill Picnic/Program. Meat and bread provided. Please bring drink, a generous side dish to share & lawn chairs.

June 20-24 – Vacation Bible School

July 2 – Fundraiser for the refugee resettlement ministry of our congregation. Chicken BBQ, fresh homemade donuts and coffee, bake sale and yard sale in Broadway. Mark your calendar and tell your neighbors and friends.

We would like to bless Ryan Thomas, in SC, with a care package. Please bring items to church by May 29th. Smaller items would be best. Notes of encouragement would be good too. Let’s brighten his day and let him know he’s not forgotten.
