ANNOUNCEMENTS September 12 - (Monday) 6:30 p.m. - Hunger Banquet sponsored by MCC & Oxfam at Park View Menn. Church. You will be served rice or a meal depending on which 3rd of the world you are placed in. This is a free event, but donations will be accepted for cost of food. Details - see Marlin or Christine Burkholder. September 14 - 7:00 p.m. - Bible study and prayer meeting at the church. September 16, 17 - Mountain Valley District Assembly will meet at Dayton Mennonite Church. September 18 - Noon - Planned lunch at Sparkling Springs with afternoon activities. December 2 - Bus trip to the National Cathedral in Washington D.C. to hear a performance of Handel's Messiah. Call Kathy Rhodes at 434-7843 for reservations. A LOOK AT VMBM MISSIONS:EMM & VMBM workers Skip and Carol Tobin work side-by-side with national partners in Southeast Asia. Their assignments are solidifying and relationships are being established.
